What is CMQE Inclusion and Autonomy?

A center of excellence providing a skills base for developing economic sectors.

A CMQE is a “campus des métiers et des qualifications d’excellence;” it is a network of educators and professionals providing a centre of excellence whose mission is to provide a skills base for developing economic opportunities through training and qualifications.

The mission of the “Autonomy & Inclusion CMQE” (CMQE A&I) is to raise the profile of the professions of the health and social services sector, to facilitate employment services and improve professional practice through the adaptive training. The CMQE A&I is one of five in the healthcare sector in mainland France, but the only one to focus on the theme of disability. It is active throughout the “Grand Est” region.

The CMQE A&I team has already carried out actions in three départements (counties), Moselle (57), Meurthe-et-Moselle (54) and Meuse (55), to raise awareness of the project, and to begin to form local partnerships. Similar actions are planned for the other 7 départements of the Grand Est region.

The CMQE A&I has its central office at the Lycée Arthur Varoquaux in Tomblaine, a municipality in the “Grand Nancy” metropolitan area.
